How we make coffee on the road

A small dripper, a hand grinder and a thermos: our travel coffee kit, refined over three years.

Good coffee in a holiday rental is a matter of luck. After too many bitter mornings, we started traveling with our own small kit. It fits in a shoebox and has saved many days.

  • A ceramic dripper and paper filters: light, unbreakable if wrapped in a sock.
  • A hand grinder: the children fight over who gets to turn it.
  • A thermos: so the second cup is still warm on the road.

It is a small luxury, but a morning that starts with good coffee is a morning that starts well, wherever you are.
